Victoria University (VU) is a young and dynamic hub of ideas and energy.

It was established in 1990 when a collection of colleges and schools, some dating back to 1916, joined forces under one name.

VU is now one of the largest universities in Australia and one of only five that offers vocational education, through our TAFE faculties, and higher education courses. We also have an English Language Institute, for those students who wish to improve their English language skills before they commence study, which is recognised by the Australian Government.
Three out of VU's eleven campuses are located within Melbourne's Central Business District and another four campuses are within 10 kilometres of the CBD. All campuses are serviced by public transport.

VU’s International Student Support (ISS), a team of staff dedicated to providing support to international students, provides a variety of services including:
